When does a four, become a five…?

When Lehigh Valley PA pianist, composer, improviser, home brewer and lifelong friend Dan DeChellis joins Four The Day !

Dan, Rob and Ray have been friends since high school, and opportunity has finally smiled upon them to perform together! Dan began piano studies at age five, received his Master's in classical piano and studied at the New England Conservatory working closely with legendary composer/pianist Ran Blake, Paul Bley and improviser Masashi Harada.

A musicians musician Dan fronts his own jazz trio, records compositions, teaches aspiring musicians at Moravian College, was a founding member of 3 Monks and plays extensively throughout North Eastern PA. Read more about Dan here. Does this mean FTD will be bustin’ out a jazz standard at their next show…? Puck no! Dan’s musical influences stem from bands like the Police, Rush, Joe Jackson, Led Zepplin, King’s X and more!

We can't wait to share with you our expanded sound.. so please join us in welcoming Dan to Four The Day !!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL FROM FOUR THE DAY!!
We can't thank you enough for your support this year and look forward to another great year in 2011!!

Back to the studio and the 2011 schedule!
Looks like 2011 is going to be a FTD kinda year! Plans are shaping up for FTD to record in early March. We’re really psyched to get some of the new songs down and out for all to enjoy. We already have two gigs booked, with more in the works. February finds us at the Long Valley Brewpub (mmmm… beer) and April we’re taking the stage at Dobbs on South Street in Philly! Stay tuned for more!

FTD is booking the Fall and Winter schedule!
We spent the summer vacationing and writing... but we're back and playing Puck Live in Doylestown PA to celebrate the arrival of Fall (and seasonal brews)! Be there Friday November 19th 2010! We're sharing the night with Heather Maloney (opening the show) and Grey Sky Turn! Get your tickets early, this show will sell out !

Pedalboard v2
It's back, and better than ever. Ray's pedalboard was needing some love with it's sharing of busted wires, switches and duct tape "quick fixes". She was sent back to her creator, pedalboard maven Tom Peck of Pedal-Racks. Tom gave her some bench time during late August sending her back better than new! Ray's added a few new toys including a Fulltone Robin Tower Overdrive and a VFE Dark Horse. The tone quest continues !
